What we do
We structure cooking times, temperatures, food-safety guidance and nutrition data from identifiable sources. Each food page shows the relevant sources so you can inspect the evidence yourself.
What we do not do
We do not invent missing data or imply that one timer can account for every appliance, ingredient and kitchen. Published ranges are starting points; doneness and safety checks still matter.
How the catalog grows
Foods are added only when a rule can be represented faithfully. If a source describes heat as “high” rather than a number, CookExact preserves that wording instead of manufacturing a temperature.
